Addie 2 weeks

Addie is 2 weeks old here. Enjoy!

Addie as a newborn

I know it's been a while since we updated our blog. We're bad bloggers, obviously. :) But we thought, better late than never, right? So here's a quick recap of Addie's birth, the holidays, and our most recent pics. Addie will be 4 months old in 3 days! She'll be starting solid foods and she LOVES to stand. She'll be walking before we know it! So enjoy!

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had our big ultrasound today and found out we're having a girl! We were a little surprised because we were convinced it was a boy. But either way, we're really happy! She is a healthy 11 oz and has all of her fingers and toes!!!! :) Our due date is still Nov 4. In the first and second ultrasound pictures above, you can see the profile of her face and even her lips. We have an Angelina Jolie baby!!!! Big pursed lips! And the last picture shows her little hands in front. Everything looked great! We're SOOOOO excited! Sorry Porter, you're WAY outnumbered now! :) he he.

Vacation in Orlando

We just got back from a vacation and dental conference in Orlando, FL. We had TONS of fun!!! Went to Disney's Magic and Animal Kingdoms, Epcot, Universal/Islands of Adventure, Kennedy Space Center, saw Cirque du Solei, and more!!!! Here are a few pics from our trip. Enjoy!

Budding photographer

Hilary and I went to the San Antonio Botanical Garden on Sunday. They had a free lunch (who says there's no such thing) and free jazz concert (they were exceptional). While I was out with my sweetie, walking the grounds, I put the macro function of my handy Canon G2 to the test. I have several photographs that turned out very nicely.

I'd have to call this first one "Good morning, Sunshine!!"

This cool little plant had a water trap in the center of its structure, with tiny lavender buds emerging from the well. I think "Feed me, Seymour!" sounds like an appropriate title to me.

Can you guess what this picture is? Its a top side view of a red pineapple, still growing on its stalk. I call it "Repentant eye of Mendicant Bias."

This was taken on our trip to San Antonio (just got back last night). Mom's starting week 14 and showing!
